1. Find your program
RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!
Explore more than 140 Sheridan programs and find the field of study that inspires you. From certificates to diplomas to degrees to postgraduate programs, you’re sure to find a credential that suits your career goals and lifestyle. Many of our programs offer the flexibility to be taken part-time, accelerated, virtually or through a hybrid model.
Refer to the Choose your program tab for more information.

2. Check the admissions requirements
Admissions requirements vary depending on your program of interest. Please check your program page to ensure you meet the specific requirements outlined there.

3. Apply online
IF YOU’RE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
Applications to Sheridan are made through ontariocolleges.ca. You can choose up to three Sheridan programs on your application.
We encourage you to apply as soon as the online application becomes available in October. Sheridan may start sending offers of admission for the 2023–2024 academic year as early as November 1, 2022.
To receive equal consideration for Sheridan programs beginning in September 2023, you'll need to apply by February 1, 2023. You can apply after this date if there’s still space in your program (as indicated on the program page on sheridancollege.ca), but we encourage you to apply early as some programs fill up quickly. Applications received after February 1 will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Submit your documentation
IF YOU'RE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN HIGH SCHOOL
Let your guidance office know that you’re applying to Sheridan. They’ll send a record of your grades (also known as transcripts) to ontariocolleges.ca at the appropriate times throughout the year.
Once you've applied, you can view outstanding requirements, deadlines and next steps through your Applicant Portal.

5. Accept your offer
FOR PROGRAMS STARTING FALL 2023
November 1, 2022: Sheridan may begin sending out offers of admission
May 1, 2023: Deadline to confirm your offer of admission
If you’ve received an offer of admission, you must accept it by May 1. Log in to your ontariocolleges.ca account to confirm your offer of admission, or you may lose your offer.
If you receive an offer of admission after May 1, your offer letter will specify a different confirmation deadline.
